Francisco is a native of Chile. He had the unique opportunity to have lived in Bolivia, Chile, England, Washington D.C., and now California. He graduated from UC Davis in 2015 with a BS in Environmental Science & Management. During his time at Davis he was a lab assistant, measuring both historical precipitation records of the Sierra Nevada and, how climate change may affect photosynthesis in agricultural systems. He is committed to global change mitigation by providing affordable, renewable energy to socioeconomically disadvantaged communities and developing countries. Outside of GRID, Francisco enjoys climbing, surfing, cycling, snowboarding, and backpacking.
