Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsor a GRID solar workday to demonstrate your commitment to the environment and community, while engaging your group in a fun and educational team-building project with tangible, long-term benefits for a family in need. GRID Alternatives has sponsored installation opportunities throughout the year across the Bay Area. We are committed to working with your company or private group to put together a project that works for you. Customized partnerships are available for companies that want to sponsor more than one home per day, sponsor homes throughout the year, or sponsor homes in multiple regions.

Contact Ashley Malyszka (510) 731 - 1193 or amalyszka@gridalternatives.org for more information about corporate sponsorship in the Bay Area.

Camp Solar Getaway on California's North Coast - $5,000

This year, GRID Alternatives is piloting an exciting new program to provide an immersive and inspiring solar experience for our corporate partners. Working in conjunction with GRID Alternatives' dynamic North Coast team, volunteer teams will install a complete solar system for a rural or Tribal family in Humboldt, Lake, or Mendocino County, while enjoying the area's beautiful scenery and attractions. All volunteer spaces (8) at a one-day install will be reserved for your group (additional sponsorship available for multi-day installations or larger teams); campground reservation for two nights and resource guide for local activities is also included.

Sponsor a Solar Job Training Installation

Support GRID while providing hands-on experience for local job-trainees to supplement what they have learned in the classroom. Each workday is coordinated with the training program's structure and curriculum to ensure that every solar job trainee has the chance to complete an installation from start to finish, providing needed experience to gain employment in the growing solar industry.
