Group Projects

GRID Alternatives has a limited number of volunteer solar electric installations available for larger group volunteer projects. Preference is given to community groups from low-income communities, GRID Alternatives corporate sponsors, and groups that can work on weekdays.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available at our annual Solarthon event, where teams of corporate sponsors and individual fundraisers install eight solar electric systems in one day, while raising money and awareness for community solar power. Solarthon 2008 is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, 2008 in Alameda. Click here for more details.
