John Russell

John Russell leads GRID's Operations team in developing enhancements to both process and technology for GRID employees and partners. With more than a decade of experience in solar operations, John brings a wealth of experience on how best to navigate the often unpredictable nature of the solar sales and installation process. In addition to working with several for-profit solar contractors, John also ran operations for Solar Richmond, one of GRID's first workforce development partners. He holds a Master's in Nonprofit Management from the New School University and lives in Oakland with his wife and two sons.
