Director of Corporate Partnerships
Karolo Aparicio works to develop and implement strategies to generate revenue through corporate partnerships and to leverage those relationships to strengthen the organization’s other revenue streams. Karolo has led fundraising efforts at organizations such as the Sierra Club, the Global Fund for Women, and International Rivers. Before joining GRID Alternatives, Karolo served as the Executive Director of EcoViva, a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental protection and economic development in rural Central America. He earned a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from San Francisco State University, where he also earned his BA. He is a Certified Fundraising Executive and is a frequent invited lecturer and workshop facilitator on fund development and non-profit management.
