Latriece Love
SolarCorps Program Assistant
Latriece Love believes that what we do each day as individuals matters and the prospect of working for GRID is an opportunity that she relishes. It is an opportunity each day to leave the world and her community in better condition than that in which she inherited it. Latriece grew up in sunny California. And enjoys being of service to others and encouraging people to be their authentic and whole selves and speak their own truths. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, read, cook and sing and perform around the Bay Area, country and overseas. Latriece has several years of work experience in the private sector and for the local and federal government. She studied and competed in Forensic Speech and Parliamentary Debate in college, winning several national, state and local tournaments. Latriece holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Sonoma State University. As a vocalist and songwriter, Latriece has toured the US, Mexico, and Cuba as well as performed at various establishments in the Bay Area. In 2014 she was a Jazz Search West semi-finalist. Every day Latriece strives to be the best version of herself that she can be and make her ancestors and family proud. In doing so she feels that she acknowledges their sacrifice, endurance, trials, and triumphs are not in vain.
