Cynthia Ibarra

Program Coordinator
Cynthia hails from the land of Simi Valley, CA. Though she was born and raised there, she has come to call many places home. While getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science at UC Santa Barbara, she had the immense privilege of studying abroad in Costa Rica and Thailand. During this time and throughout her travels, Cynthia has had the opportunity to serve alongside passionate leaders working to develop their communities in the realms of ecological restoration, fisheries management, sustainable farming and environmental education. Now, she is learning to call the Monterey Bay area home and is ecstatic to be working in the realm of solar! Apart from exploring her new home via hiking, scuba diving, and attending community events, Cynthia looks forward to being a part of the GRID Alternatives family and the amazing work being done to promote a sustainable future.
