Miguel Rodarte

Solar Installation Supervisor
Miguel lives in Ontario, California. In high school, he took a class that sparked his interest in sustainability. When his dad became involved with GRID, he also developed a passion for the industry and decided to follow in his dad’s footsteps by becoming a volunteer. Miguel accumulated over 1,000 volunteer hours and was recognized as ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in 2016. After volunteering, he became an intern until he earned a permanent position at GRID. Miguel enjoys how GRID positively affects people's lives and plans to continue his education in a major relating to sustainability. He feels that working at an installation site builds character, teaches patience, and is rewarding—especially when he gets to teach new volunteers. Outside of work, his interests include playing baseball and skating.
