Pero eso es exactamente lo que hizo el Grupo de Alianza Ambiental de la Universidad Central de Arkansas. Aquella deseada semana de compa\u00f1erismo, que normalmente los estudiantes pasan junto al mar para desahogarse, 10 estudiantes de UCA se subieron a un auto y vinieron a pasar el tiempo con GRID Alternatives Colorado y instalar paneles solares para dos familias locales.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de participar en el programa de \u2018clase en el tejado\u2019 de GRID, instalando sistemas solares que ahorrar\u00e1n a cada una de las familias un promedio de 80% euros en sus facturas de electricidad, el grupo pas\u00f3 los \u00faltimos dos d\u00edas aprendiendo y trabajando con organizaciones locales que tienen misiones similares a las de GRID. <\/p>\n<p>Los Solar Spring Breakers pasaron la ma\u00f1ana del jueves con los estudiantes de primaria de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rmsel.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Escuela de Aprendizaje Expedicionario de las Monta\u00f1as Rocosas<\/a>, Ayudando a los ni\u00f1os a construir cocinas solares, turbinas e\u00f3licas y proyectos de microhidr\u00e1ulica con materiales de la vida cotidiana. Las manos de los ni\u00f1os se pon\u00edan en acci\u00f3n una y otra vez, y todos nos quedamos muy impresionados con la curiosidad que expresaban los estudiantes al hablar sobre la energ\u00eda solar. M\u00e1s tarde ese d\u00eda, una visita al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegrowhaus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Growhaus<\/a> Ofrece una visi\u00f3n general de la justicia alimentaria. GRID trabaja para lograr la independencia energ\u00e9tica en barrios afectados por a\u00f1os de contaminaci\u00f3n industrial, adem\u00e1s de ofrecer educaci\u00f3n en el campo solar. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegrowhaus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Growhaus<\/a>, Asimismo, re\u00fane iniciativas educativas y de alimentaci\u00f3n saludable en el desierto alimentario de Elyria Swansea, que sufre una fuerte contaminaci\u00f3n.
