{"id":2810,"date":"2014-09-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gridalt.wpenginepowered.com\/the-current\/grid-at-americas-latino-eco-festival\/"},"modified":"2026-09-03T12:03:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T16:03:15","slug":"grid-at-americas-latino-eco-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/es\/the-current\/grid-at-americas-latino-eco-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"GRID en el Festival Latinoamericano de Ecolog\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La semana pasada en el <a href=\"http:\/\/americaslatinoecofestival.org\/\">Festival Latino Ambiental de Am\u00e9rica<\/a> (ALEF), GRID Colorado tuvo el privilegio de unirse al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sierraclub.org\/\">Sierra Club<\/a> y un distinguido grupo de oradores para un panel sobre raza y energ\u00eda renovable.<\/p>\n<p>El Latino Eco-Festival de las Am\u00e9ricas \u2013que solo lleva un a\u00f1o y ya cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de celebridades, artistas, cient\u00edficos y l\u00edderes comunitarios y de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de toda Am\u00e9rica\u2013 fue creado para promover la conciencia ambiental y crear una plataforma para el di\u00e1logo y la movilizaci\u00f3n en pro de una sociedad justa, que garantice el acceso de todos a un ambiente saludable. \u00a1Naturalmente, GRID Colorado se aprovech\u00f3 de la oportunidad de participar!<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan estudios realizados por el NRDC y otros, 9 de cada 10 votantes hispanos prefieren invertir en fuentes de energ\u00eda limpia y renovable en lugar de los combustibles f\u00f3siles. El ochenta y seis por ciento de los latinos apoyan que el gobierno de Obama tome medidas para limitar la contaminaci\u00f3n por carbono \u2013 un porcentaje a\u00fan mayor que el 61 por ciento de todos los estadounidenses que apoyan el plan de acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica del presidente.
