Para ella, dirigir a los voluntarios de PG&amp;E significaba dar un giro en el camino recorrido. \u201cTodos los voluntarios de PG&amp;E fueron incre\u00edbles\u201d, dijo Kaly. \u201cFue realmente gratificante poder transmitirles algo de lo que he aprendido aqu\u00ed en GRID\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>La clase de este a\u00f1o de SolarCorps \u201427 personas en total\u2014 incluye becarios de nuestros programas Tribales e Internacionales, as\u00ed como voluntarios, personal de desarrollo de la fuerza laboral, divulgaci\u00f3n, desarrollo y construcci\u00f3n en todo el pa\u00eds. El programa est\u00e1 financiado tanto por AmeriCorps como por donantes como PG&amp;E, quienes est\u00e1n entusiasmados con la formaci\u00f3n laboral en energ\u00eda solar.<\/p>\n<p>Para Kaly, fue una oportunidad para hacer algo que realmente le importaba mientras ayudaba a mantener a su familia. Hija de una madre recientemente divorciada que luchaba con el desempleo, comenz\u00f3 a trabajar a los 15 a\u00f1os. Tras graduarse de la escuela secundaria, se aprovech\u00f3 de la oportunidad de \u201caprender haciendo\u201d con GRID Alternatives. Complet\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 50 instalaciones solares para familias que enfrentaban muchos de los mismos problemas que las de ella durante su primer a\u00f1o como miembro del programa SolarCorps de la oficina de GRID Alternatives en el Valle del Norte.
