Al combinar su vida entera: estudios, carrera profesional y familia con la instalaci\u00f3n de paneles solares, Brian no solo ha ayudado a s\u00ed mismo y a su familia, sino tambi\u00e9n a la comunidad en general.<\/p>\n<p>Al darse cuenta de su pasi\u00f3n por ayudar a los dem\u00e1s en la escuela secundaria, Brian comenz\u00f3 a trabajar con el Instituto Barrio Logan College, una organizaci\u00f3n dedicada a ayudar a estudiantes universitarios de primera generaci\u00f3n. Como el primero de su familia en asistir a la universidad, Brian dio clases a otros estudiantes para lograr este objetivo a trav\u00e9s del BLCI.<\/p>\n<p>Su arduo trabajo no pas\u00f3 desapercibido, y en junio de 2013 Brian aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad de hacer pr\u00e1cticas como estudiante en GRID Alternatives San Diego. Aunque era un chico tranquilo y reservado, con el tiempo se convirti\u00f3 en una persona m\u00e1s extrovertida, quien en marzo de 2014 acept\u00f3 una beca con GRID.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras que Brian sobresali\u00f3 como miembro del personal, no limit\u00f3 su pasi\u00f3n a su carrera profesional. Durante su pasant\u00eda, Brian se dio cuenta de que su familia pod\u00eda beneficiarse tanto como \u00e9l. \u00c9l dijo:,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCuando descubrieron por primera vez el programa, al principio eran esc\u00e9pticos. Fue \u00fatil que yo fuera un estudiante de pr\u00e1cticas en ese momento, ya que les explicaba c\u00f3mo el programa les ayudar\u00eda a ahorrar en la factura de la electricidad.
