Dustin y Rebecca, junto con su hija de tres a\u00f1os, Ferra, todos miembros de la comunidad Sherwood Valley Rancheria de indios Pomo, estaban emocionados de poner en marcha su sistema GRID y esperan ahorrar m\u00e1s de $18.000 en sus facturas de energ\u00eda al cambiar a la energ\u00eda solar. <\/p>\n<p>Este proyecto en Willits es un hito emocionante tanto para la organizaci\u00f3n como para las comunidades tribales que GRID busca servir. \u201cEsperamos poder generar inter\u00e9s entre m\u00e1s propietarios de viviendas y voluntarios de la zona\u201d, dijo Maggie Graham, coordinadora de Extensi\u00f3n y Voluntariado de GRID. \u201c\u00a1Con suerte, esto ser\u00e1 el primero de muchos proyectos en nuestra ciudad natal, Willits!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>En 2014, gracias al generoso apoyo de una donaci\u00f3n realizada a trav\u00e9s de un fondo asesorado por donantes de la San Francisco Foundation, GRID abri\u00f3 la oficina de Willits para poder atender mejor a las familias tribales de bajos ingresos de los condados de Mendocino y Humboldt.
