GRID\u2019s SolarCorps<\/a> Construction Fellowship representa un compromiso de servicio de un a\u00f1o para personas altamente motivadas, que podr\u00e1n adquirir valiosa experiencia en todos los aspectos de la construcci\u00f3n solar, as\u00ed como en la supervisi\u00f3n de la instalaci\u00f3n. Los nuevos Fellows de SolarCorps de GRID incluyen a Giovanni Esti, Josh Gardner y Eric Plowman. Todos ellos vieron el voluntariado como una oportunidad para adquirir experiencia, ya que su tiempo total como voluntarios antes de aceptar un Fellowship de GRID ascendi\u00f3 a casi 1.500 horas. \u201cMe parece fascinante el concepto de GRID de facilitar el cambio mediante medios distintos al dinero\u201d, coment\u00f3 Giovanni. \u201cEn GRID se trata de dar tiempo y recibir formaci\u00f3n mientras ayudas a alguien en necesidad\u201d.\u201d <\/p>\n

Josh Garndner est\u00e1 de acuerdo con la evaluaci\u00f3n de Giovanni. \u00c9l tiene experiencia en trabajos el\u00e9ctricos y la aplica a los equipos de voluntarios que ayudan a las familias del Inland Empire a reducir sus facturas de electricidad. \u201cLo que me pareci\u00f3 fascinante en GRID fue poder devolverle algo a la comunidad\u201d, dijo Josh. \u201cMe involucro como voluntario en mi iglesia y siempre estoy buscando formas de ayudar a los dem\u00e1s. Mi deseo de poner las necesidades de otras personas por encima de las m\u00edas sigue creciendo a medida que paso tiempo con GRID.\u201d <\/p>\n

Nuestro tercer becario de construcci\u00f3n, Eric Plowman, ve a SolarCorps como una oportunidad para desarrollar a\u00fan m\u00e1s sus habilidades de liderazgo. Eric es graduado de un programa de formaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica de una universidad local, lo cual le ayud\u00f3 a desarrollar confianza ense\u00f1ando a otros sobre la instalaci\u00f3n solar. \u201cConvertirme en confiado con mis responsabilidades como l\u00edder de equipo me ayuda a traducir f\u00e1cilmente esas t\u00e9cnicas en experiencias educativas para los aprendices de GRID\u201d, dijo Eric. \u201cConsidero a SolarCorps como una forma de mejorar mis habilidades tanto t\u00e9cnicas como personales a medida que avance en mi carrera.\u201d<\/p>\n
