Un s\u00e1bado por la ma\u00f1ana soleado, m\u00e1s de 100 voluntarios y dedicados miembros del personal de GRID se reunieron para nuestra 9\u00aa edici\u00f3n.th<\/sup> Solarthon anual. Solarthon es una recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos de GRID Alternatives y una fiesta solar que re\u00fane a personas de todas las clases sociales. Personas individuales, patrocinadores corporativos, aprendices de trabajo, l\u00edderes comunitarios y los propios propietarios de viviendas se unen para instalar m\u00faltiples sistemas fotovoltaicos solares en una misma comunidad. El evento de este a\u00f1o se celebr\u00f3 en el barrio Parksdale de Self-Help Enterprises en Madera, California. <\/p>\n

Por la ma\u00f1ana tuvimos una visita especial de Max Rodriguez, Supervisor del Distrito 4 de Madera County, quien agradeci\u00f3 a todos el trabajo que estamos realizando en su comunidad. GRID tuvo nuevamente la suerte de obtener el apoyo de socios de toda la regi\u00f3n, entre los que se encontraban Wells Fargo, Enphase, Bank of America, Lifestyle Solar, CED, Sinclair Systems International, Beneficial State Bank, Solar Negotiators\/Solar Maintenance Pros, Sun Power y el Departamento de Correcciones del Condado de Madera. <\/p>\n

Al final del d\u00eda, se han instalado 86 sistemas fotovoltaicos solares en el condado de Madera desde que GRID Alternatives abri\u00f3 su oficina en 2009. En n\u00fameros, las instalaciones de los s\u00e1bados tuvieron un gran impacto: los ocho proyectos sumaron 23,6 kW de producci\u00f3n solar, lo que equivale a 10.509 \u00e1rboles plantados. Esto elimin\u00f3 452 toneladas de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y ahorr\u00f3 a las familias $220.260 en ahorros a lo largo de su vida \u00fatil. \u00a1No es una mala manera de concluir el fin de semana del D\u00eda de la Tierra de este a\u00f1o!.<\/p>\n

El trabajo duro, el sudor y la dedicaci\u00f3n de los voluntarios y miembros del personal ayudaron a llevar a cabo la tarea.
