\"\"Casa San Jos\u00e9 forma parte de una red de orfanatos privados en el norte de Baja California, M\u00e9xico, apoyados por nuestro socio. Coraz\u00f3n de Vida<\/a>. Solo en el norte de Baja California, m\u00e1s de 6.000 ni\u00f1os viven en la calle o en situaciones peligrosas o abusivas, y miles m\u00e1s viven en situaci\u00f3n de pobreza extrema. Actualmente M\u00e9xico no tiene programas p\u00fablicos de acogida o bienestar social, y estos orfanatos privados ofrecen a cientos de ni\u00f1os seguridad, nutrici\u00f3n, refugio y acceso a la educaci\u00f3n superior que de otro modo nunca recibir\u00edan.<\/p>\n

La Casa San Jos\u00e9 se encuentra en Tijuana, a solo tres millas de la frontera entre M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos, y alberga a 10 estudiantes universitarias que crecieron en uno de los orfanatos que recibe apoyo de Coraz\u00f3n de Vida. Debido a que los orfanatos y la Casa San Jos\u00e9 para estudiantes universitarios no reciben apoyo financiero del gobierno, dependen \u00fanicamente de ahorros y donaciones para cubrir sus costos, incluido el pago de la factura de electricidad.<\/p>\n

\"\"Junto al personal de GRID y a nuestro socio solar mexicano Gecko Logic<\/a>, El sistema solar fue instalado de principio a fin por diez empleados de IGS y cuatro estudiantes mexicanos de energ\u00edas renovables de la Universidad de la Rep\u00fablica. Universidad Tecnol\u00f3gica de Tijuana<\/a> (UTT), que adquiri\u00f3 experiencia pr\u00e1ctica instalando sistemas solares para desarrollar sus habilidades y curr\u00edculums. Con la instalaci\u00f3n de un sistema solar de 5 kW, Casa San Jos\u00e9 ahora abastecer\u00e1 de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica limpia y renovable 100% de sus usuarios.<\/p>\n
