Mi nombre es Sameer Talnikar y recientemente termin\u00e9 mi periodo como Estudiante de Construcci\u00f3n Solar en GRID IE.<\/p>\n<p>Soy graduada en ingenier\u00eda aeroespacial de la Universidad del Sur de California. Mi pasi\u00f3n por las energ\u00edas renovables me introdujo en GRID Alternatives y en la maravillosa misi\u00f3n que persigue la organizaci\u00f3n. Asist\u00ed a una feria de oportunidades laborales que GRID organiz\u00f3 en la zona de la Bah\u00eda este verano y fui animada por el director de recursos humanos a presentarme para un puesto de pasante. La misi\u00f3n de GRID de servir a la comunidad proporcionando una fuente de energ\u00eda renovable que impacta directamente en los esfuerzos para combatir el cambio clim\u00e1tico me inspir\u00f3 de tal manera que quer\u00eda contribuir a la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Escrib\u00ed a la persona responsable de contratar internos en GRID IE junto con mi solicitud. Poco despu\u00e9s particip\u00e9 en una entrevista telef\u00f3nica, seguida de una entrevista personal, ambas duraron aproximadamente 30-45 minutos. Creo que se espera que un candidato exitoso tenga alguna experiencia con los procesos de construcci\u00f3n y montaje, se sienta c\u00f3modo en los tejados y pueda trabajar con supervisi\u00f3n m\u00ednima despu\u00e9s del entrenamiento. En una semana recib\u00ed una oferta y fui recibido en la oficina en uno de los d\u00edas m\u00e1s concurridos, el d\u00eda de la reuni\u00f3n de todo el personal.<\/p>\n<p>Mi trabajo en GRID fue una experiencia profesional enriquecedora y tuve la suerte de trabajar junto a los mejores supervisores de instalaciones solares que podr\u00eda haber imaginado. Con el m\u00e1s alto grado de profesionalismo y pasi\u00f3n por la energ\u00eda solar, <a href=\"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/es\/volunteer\/solar-installation-training\/\">Mi formaci\u00f3n en instalaci\u00f3n de sistemas solares <\/a>La labor se llev\u00f3 a cabo de manera l\u00f3gica y sistem\u00e1tica, siempre basada en la seguridad. Se me asign\u00f3 gradualmente tareas m\u00e1s complejas y recib\u00eda de forma habitual comentarios personales sobre mi trabajo. Me pareci\u00f3 que los voluntarios con quienes pasaba tiempo todos los d\u00edas eran un grupo incre\u00edble de personas que ten\u00edan conciencia y un compromiso con un entorno m\u00e1s limpio. Los propietarios de las viviendas tambi\u00e9n fueron un grupo maravilloso de personas con las que me sent\u00ed muy a gusto.<\/p>\n<p>Tras mi pasant\u00eda, mi objetivo es combinar mi experiencia en el terreno con mi formaci\u00f3n en ingenier\u00eda para seguir desarrollando mi carrera profesional. Me gustar\u00eda integrar aplicaciones de ingenier\u00eda innovadoras con la energ\u00eda solar y trabajar en sistemas que ampl\u00eden la tecnolog\u00eda con una eficiencia mejorada a un costo menor. GRID me ofreci\u00f3 la oportunidad de conocer de cerca la industria solar. Sin duda, seguir\u00e9 contribuyendo a la industria desarrollando tecnolog\u00edas de energ\u00eda limpia de forma precisa.<\/p>\n<p>Recomendar\u00eda encarecidamente a todos, especialmente a los estudiantes con formaci\u00f3n en STEM, que formen parte del viaje de GRID. Ser\u00e1 una de las experiencias m\u00e1s esclarecedoras y constructivas que puedan tener al inicio de su carrera profesional. Podr\u00e1n realizar una importante cantidad de trabajo de campo y adquirir experiencia pr\u00e1ctica, algo que a veces falta en nuestros cursos de laboratorio. Lo m\u00e1s importante, <a href=\"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/es\/work-at-grid\/\">Puesto de voluntario en GRID<\/a> Te ayudar\u00e1 a crecer personalmente, ya que podr\u00e1s observar los esfuerzos de una industria que trabaja por un planeta m\u00e1s verde y un futuro m\u00e1s brillante.
