SolarCorps Workforce Development Fellow
Elizabeth is a SolarCorps Workforce Development Fellow with GRID Alternatives HQ. Her prior renewable energy experience includes completing a Certificate in Renewable Energy Management through the NC Clean Energy Technology Center and conducting research on cellulosic ethanol at NC State University. She also has a background in sustainable agriculture (especially permaculture), hunger relief, and non-profit work. She holds a B.A. in Literature from UNC Asheville and recently completed a Master of Environmental Management degree at Duke University, where her academic focus balanced the scientific and social elements of sustainability through a concentration in Ecosystem Science and Conservation and a certificate in Community-Based Environmental Management. Elizabeth is committed to supporting human and environmental wellbeing with an eye toward creative, collaborative, and transformative solutions and she is excited to be part of the GRID Alternatives team.
