We are thrilled to announce Adrienne Dorsey as GRID Colorado’s new Executive Director!
Adrienne joined GRID Colorado’s team as the organization’s Deputy Director in May 2017, bringing with her nearly fifteen years of experience in energy efficiency, solar and sustainability work. Before coming to GRID, Adrienne led a statewide initiative to expand access to community solar for low-income households in Colorado and build the first sustainability office for Adams County, CO.
Since GRID Colorado was launched in 2012, the affiliate has installed over 5MW of solar power for low-income households in the state. In the coming year, the GRID Colorado team plans to install 3.5MW more solar and deepen its workforce development programming to help those from underrepresented communities find pathways to long-term employment in high-skilled, well-paid solar jobs.
