Lisa Castilone has been integral to the GRID Alternatives Inland Empire team for over 14 years, spearheading initiatives to bring renewable energy solutions to underserved communities. With a passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmental justice, Lisa has played a crucial role in securing funding and developing programs that serve low-income and disadvantaged populations in the Inland Empire (IE) region.

As the Director of Tribal Programs, Lisa focuses on expanding renewable energy efforts within tribal nations throughout the Inland Empire. Her role involves developing comprehensive plans and strategies to identify critical areas for partnership and program implementation. Lisa's dedication to understanding the energy needs of tribal communities has led to the successful execution of numerous projects promoting clean energy adoption and sustainability.

With her expertise in program management and a proven track record of building strong partnerships with tribal entities, Lisa ensures that GRID Alternatives' mission aligns seamlessly with the goals and values of the communities it serves. She is known for her ability to navigate complex relationships and her commitment to fostering long-lasting collaborations.

Lisa's leadership extends beyond program development; she also oversees staff management, ensuring that her team is equipped to execute GRID Alternatives' initiatives effectively. Her hands-on approach and advocacy for renewable energy solutions have been instrumental in the success of various projects, including the first low-income community solar project in California and several microgrid installations on tribal reservations.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lisa is pursuing a degree in Sustainability and Environmental Policy. She enjoys spending time with her large family, walking her dog, and admiring ocean sunsets.
