GRID Alternatives Inland Empire recently announced the celebration of our 10 Year Anniversary and Open House in our previous newsletter. Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, we have decided to take precautionary measures and change the previously announced in-person event to a 10 Year Anniversary Virtual Celebration.
The new date of this virtual celebration is Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

The Sunshine Award for Equity and Justice honors organizations who are advancing equity, inclusion, diversity and justice in our Inland communities
- WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT — Riverside Unified School District, Career Technical Education
The Sunshine Award in Workforce Development recognizes organizations who are expanding access to green, clean energy careers and leadership opportunities in Inland communities, connecting people that need good jobs with industries that need good people
- PUBLIC PARTNER — Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG)
The Sunshine Award for Public Partners honors Inland Empire municipalities who are strong advocates of GRID programs and offer innovative solutions to inform underserved residents about energy saving solutions to their electric bills

The Sunshine Award for Corporate Partner honors organizations who are strong supporters and advocates for GRID IE, both inside their company and externally to the community at large, supporting GRID IE's sustainability and impact
