Samnang Sinn

Samnang (Sam) Sinn is GRID San Diego's new SolarCorps Construction Fellow. Sam was born in Cambodia, moving to the United States when he was 3 years old. He grew up in East San Diego and first became interested in a career in electric in 2008. Sam has worked as a solar installer at Sunrun and an Electrical Apprentice at Smith Electrical Contractors Inc. He has Associate of Science degrees in both Electricity and Building Construction Technology Inspection. In his spare time, Sam likes to get creative and explore the great outdoors -- he lists fishing, swimming, drawing and painting as just some of his hobbies.
