Lorena Maciel-Mendoza

Lorena is a Bay Area native with over a decade of experience in different non-profit sectors such as family strengthening services and youth empowerment, and most recently through GRID's powerful work. She studied Psychology and Sociology at UC Davis, and brings her passion for helping underrepresented communities. Lorena is re-joining the Bay Area Outreach team as an Outreach Operations Specialist after a four year hiatus from GRID. In her free time Lorena loves to enjoy the outdoors, dancing salsa, and spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies
