New film shows solar's potential to power communities

Who pays for solar power, and who benefits? This question has become a centerpiece of our national debate around renewable energy policy. In September, we debuted this powerful short film about solar’s potential to transform disadvantaged communities by lowering energy costs, providing pathways to employment and reducing pollution. Hear from pioneers around the country who are leading the way to ensure that solar’s benefits are truly felt by all.

The film is a companion to our Low-Income Solar Policy Guide, developed in collaboration with Vote Solar and Center for Social Inclusion, and released earlier this year. The guide serves as a tool for policymakers, community leaders and others who are working on solar access at the federal, state and local level.
