GRID IE Executive Director Jaime Alonso Selected for Field Catalyst 2026–2027 Fellowship

GRID Alternatives Inland Empire is proud to share that Executive Director Jaime Alonso has been selected to join the 2026–2027 Field Catalyst Fellowship cohort with the Center for Community Investment. Jaime is one of 16 leaders from across the country chosen to participate in the nationally recognized program, which supports senior leaders working to advance long-term, community-centered change.

The Field Catalyst Fellowship brings together leaders who are focused on aligning community priorities, capital, and policy to address complex challenges at scale. As part of the two-year cohort, Jaime will collaborate with peers from diverse sectors to sharpen strategies that support equitable development and locally driven solutions.

Reflecting on the opportunity, Jaime shared his excitement about deepening GRID’s environmental justice work and strengthening community-led climate solutions. Through the fellowship, he will focus on advancing strategies that center the communities most affected by climate change, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and leadership opportunities needed to design and guide their own paths forward.

For GRID IE, Jaime’s selection represents an investment in the organization’s long-term capacity and leadership. The fellowship will provide space for reflection, learning, and collaboration that will directly inform GRID IE’s work across the Inland Empire and beyond, strengthening efforts to connect local needs with sustainable funding, policy alignment, and community-driven impact.

Jaime also expressed gratitude to colleagues and mentors who introduced him to the work of the Center for Community Investment and celebrated the opportunity to join fellow California climate leaders in the cohort.

GRID Alternatives Inland Empire congratulates Jaime on this achievement and looks forward to the insights, partnerships, and leadership growth that will continue to benefit the communities we serve.
