Patrick MacDonald

Patrick is a SolarCorp construction fellow at the Salinas office. He was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in the Connecticut suburbs—but he still likes to think of himself as a native New Yorker, despite what the locals may say. Before joining GRID, Patrick was an outdoor tour guide in the Pacific Northwest and South America. His favorite places to work were in Central Oregon (especially Crater Lake) and Peru. Patrick has a degree in Culture and Politics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he also studied abroad for a year at Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro. In his free time, he enjoys biking, long distance hiking, and attempting to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
