GRID Alternatives Central Valley Celebrates 15 years

GRID Central Valley Solarbration

GRID Central Valley celebrated fifteen years of serving our community by hosting a banquet to honor those who have been a part of our successful journey. Speeches were made, stories were told, and more stories were written as the evening went on. What a sigh of relief to see a packed room filled with people smiling, laughing, and sometimes crying (albeit tears of joy).

GRID Central Valley awarded three individuals at our banquet for their positive contributions and impact to our mission. Judy Esquivel was awarded Homeowner of the Year for her dedication to supporting our rooftop solar program. We thank her for driving all the way from Bakersfield, CA, to celebrate with us and receive her award. Courtney Espinoza was awarded for Partner of the Year. Courtney has played a pivotal role in our success with The Transformative Climate Communities program, which served South West Fresno (TCC Fresno). Juan Maximiliano received the final award of the evening for Trainee of the Year. Juan exemplifies our program with his words and deeds. After completing the training and joining the solar industry, Juan was promoted shortly after and returned to hire GRID trainees for his company.

GRID CV would like to thank our corporate and individual sponsors for their generosity and our new and longtime partners who were in attendance. We thank our team for their support, especially the banquet committee, who sacrificed their time to plan this event. Lastly, we thank our family and friends who supported us and celebrated this milestone together.
