Krystal Ruiz

In 2014 Krystal had a chance to train with GRID Alternatives as an AmeriCorps fellow with the New York City-based organization Green City Force, a non-profit that gives young adults hands-on skills in sustainable careers. She earned the status of GRID Team Leader and, when she finished her time with GCF, took an offer to become a SolarCorps Construction Fellow with GRID. Following her SolarCorps term, she stayed on in her current position of Lead Installer. Of her work with GRID Krystal says, “I really feel like I found my place, a career I will succeed in”.
