GRID Bay Area's North Coast branch office has been partnering with California's tribal communities to bring solar savings and job training to indigenous families since 2013, installing 896 kilowatts DC to date on tribal lands in the region. Join all of us at GRID Bay Area in observing Indigenous Peoples' Day on Monday, October 14th by learning about the history of the land that you live on and consider supporting Bay Area Indigenous Peoples' by:

Attending the Indigenous Peoples' Day Sunrise Gathering on Alcatraz - commemorating 527 years of Indegenous resistance and survival in the Americas and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the occupation of Alcatraz.

Purchasing a "Protect Native Culture" license plate - proceeds support programs that  preserve and protect California Native American cultural resources.

Supporting the The Sogorea Te Land Trust, an urban indigenous women-led community organization working to facilitate the return of Ohlone land in the Bay Area to indigenous stewardship.

Donating to the Tribal Solar Accelerator Fund or directly to GRID North Coast to help us bring renewable energy and job training to tribal communities across the country.
