Installation Basics Training (IBT) Program

Installation Basics Training is a 4-week training program designed to help you develop the skills solar industry employers are looking for. You’ll learn from interactive classroom instruction, hands-on lab activities, and complete installs at our training facility. You will also tour real-world solar projects. This program is offered at no-cost and participants will receive a weekly transportation stipend.

Our curriculum is vetted by industry employers and incorporates the latest solar technologies, so you can be confident you’re getting relevant, comprehensive training. You’ll graduate with basic certifications (CPR/First Aid & OSHA 10), advanced solar knowledge, and hands-on installation experience. Training also includes resume-building, soft skills training, and opportunities to network with employers.

Training now includes electrical apprentice registration so you can earn valuable experience hours over the course of the training!

Basic requirements: 18+ yrs of age & authorized to work in the U.S.

Open to all Denver Metro area residents. No prior experience necessary!

Please note: At this time, training is only offered in English
