GRID Alternatives' Community Solarthon 2015 showcased an innovative partnership with Mesa County electric utility, Grand Valley Power, to develop community solar exclusively dedicated to subscribers qualified as low-income. The first of its kind in the nation, the 29kW array provides clean, renewable power to 8 families in Mesa County.
