Maria Mora lives with her husband and 3 children in the Globeville neighborhood of Denver. She moved to the United States 20 years ago, to work towards a better life with more opportunities for her family. GRID Alternatives Colorado recently installed a solar system on her roof that will save the Mora's 70% on each monthly electricity bill, savings they plan to use towards their children's education and taking a vacation as a family in the summer. In the video, Maria talks about what solar means to her family and hopes her story will inspire more of the Latino Community to go solar.
