Jailene Vera

Jailene Vera has lived in the Southern California, Riverside area her whole life and attended trade school at UEI (Riverside) as an electrician technician. Before taking a break from CSUSM to pursue her electrical degree, she took classes there to complete her degree in environmental studies. It was while working on her environmental degree that she realized that the problems the environment is facing isn't just our planet's experience, it's a shared struggle between all the living beings who inhabit the planet as well. With GRID’s help, she wants to advocate for those environmental injustices to bring everyone a cleaner, positive change!

Some of her hobbies include learning new songs to play on the bass or guitar, solving puzzles, or building legos.
