Meet Paola (she/her), our very own Workforce Coordinator at GRID IE!
Come September, she will have officially been with us for two years. In 2022, Paola began her GRID journey as a Workforce Solarcorps Fellow and naturally grew into a full-time Workforce Coordinator in the small but mighty Workforce team of five. Since then, her team has dedicated 6,593 hours of hands-on training to the community, including the first graduates of IBT 200 and Solar Futures students from Sherman Indian High.
“At GRID, I learned I have a passion for helping others! I believe my compassion and ability to communicate well with trainees helps me do my job.”
When asked about the most challenging part of her role, Paola echoed her passion for others and turned the spotlight:
“A lot of our trainees are reentry and facing extensive barriers. Part of my job is connecting them to resources that can offer support through those challenges.”

One of Paola’s best memories working at GRID IE:
“Our 2023 IBT 200 Solar Showcase and Graduation! It was a successful event for our five graduated IBT 200 trainees. I am excited for our two IBT 200 showcases this year!”
With that, she thanks her peers in the WorkVol Team for their great work and looks forward to their exciting future accomplishments.
These days, Paola is enjoying the nice weather and can’t wait to hit the beach with her kids this summer!
