GRID Alternatives Inland Empire (GRID IE) collaborated with the Riverside County’s Workforce Connection Program and College of the Desert last year to launch a Solar Construction Cohort Program, which proved to be very successful.

The Inland Empire branch of GRID Alternatives was established in 2011, but received its affiliation in August 2018.

GRID Alternatives Inland Empire (GRID IE) Workforce & Volunteer Team has many educational partners. One such partner is Desert Hot Springs High School’s Renewable Energy Academy of Learning (REAL) located within Palm Springs Unified School District.

The Oasis House is a 5-acre facility in Apple Valley, California ran by Cedar House, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that helps improve the lives of individuals and families suffering from substance abuse or co-disorders.

Zachary Cain earned the title as ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in February of this year at our Volunteer Appreciation event.

Tammy Reilly was born in Germany and brought to the States at five years old.
