Abe Parra
Warehouse Coordinator & PV Designer
Abe's infatuation for sustainable energy flip's the pages all the way back to High School, Junior year in AP Environmental Science. To say he loves the environment would feel like an understatement. His interest remained in environmental science until one fateful day, he received an email for Workforce CCJ Solar Training and in the spur of the moment applied for the training. The rest is history; with the great help of Laura, Gonzalo & Danyla he was able to complete his training and enroll at GRID Alternatives for the Solar Design Internship. After spending 6 months with the legendary Josh Peet, learning the works of PV Design & Warehouse Management, Abe was hired and continues to grow with GRID.
Abe, born and raised in San Diego, is passionate about coffee, food, technology, music and the environment. Abe was a student for most of his life while figuring out what he wanted to do in life; attending San Diego Community College District and transferring to San Diego State University with a 4.0 GPA. Fortunately for him, he feels right at home with GRID Alternatives.
