Edgar Arellano is a Sustainability Aficionado who has engaged communities in sustainability & transportation programs throughout California. Mr. Arellano is passionate about supporting community efforts to be more livable and equitable while engaging sustainable practices to reduce their ecological footprint such as: solar electrification, active transportation, wildlife / wilderness conservation, cosmic relativity (space education), water conservation, as well as hardscape and permaculture gardening. Edgar loves people-powered adventures, specifically on bicycles. You may find him on a ride or in his role as a League Certified Instructor with the League of American Bicyclists, which allows him to host bicycle skills workshops and group rides to support bicycle friendly communities. He sat on the Leadership Committee for Santa Ana Active Streets and The Bicycle Tree where he provided direction for scaling up their capacities to continue serving our communities.
