Matt Kroll

Hailing from Petaluma, California, Matt holds a B.A. in Business Management Economics with a Minor in Electronic Music from University of California, Santa Cruz. The majority of Matt's professional background is in tech, business, music, and event production. Originally joining GRID as a volunteer and intern, Matt is excited to support the economic and workforce development of his native Bay Area while helping us transition to a renewable energy future. Matt is also an avid musician and DJ (under the moniker Matt The Katt), and got his first hands-on experience with PV building a portable off-grid solar generator designed to power DJ and sound equipment in remote areas. Matt also loves funk music and speaks a bit of Spanish, German, and French.
