Individual Fundraisers

IMG: 2018 Solar Champions
Support GRID Alternatives as a Solarthon Solar Champion!

Solarthon is a modern-day barn raising: a collective action by community members, for community members. But we're not raising barns, we're raising solar panels. Solarthon is driven by people with a desire to roll up their sleeves and help others, while contributing towards a clean energy future.

Individual fundraisers - or Solar Champions - commit to raising $500 for our work in the Bay Area, which secures them a spot on a roof at Solarthon. Individual fundraisers also get an event-day t-shirt and the chance to network with other solar enthusiasts and connect with community members on a deeper level. Prizes are given to top individual fundraisers!

We are unable to hold Solarthon this year due to COVID-19 and look forward to bringing our community back together again in 2021.

Check back in 2021 for information on being a Solarthon Solar Champion, or reach out today if you are interested in individual fundraising opportunities to support GRID Bay Area through 2020.
