We've previously updated you on developments in the life of Ryan Shelton, a recent GLA SolarCorps Fellow from the Long Beach area, after he went into the private solar industry. Ryan was selected as a finalist for The Corps Network's Corpsmember of the Year award; he's been working, full-time; and he joined us at last December's celebration for trainees and volunteers.

Now, Ryan has been chosen as 2020 Corps Member of the Year – an exceptional Corpsmember, taken from the entire national network of Service and Conservation Corps.

Read more about Ryan.

Ryan says that one of his highest achievements is bringing people from his own community into training at GLA. "But," he says, "it takes you asking those questions and you pushing yourself to those limits."

We couldn't agree more. Congratulations, Ryan!
