GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles joins our coalition partners in the Los Angeles Clean Energy Coalition (LACEC) in welcoming Mayor Eric Garcetti's decision to retire three gas plants. While moving us away from fossil fuels is a huge first step, it will take continued investments in solar to ensure that our communities are healthy and strong.
With this news, we are encouraged to see energy equity picking up more and more steam in Los Angeles. We joined the LACEC to commemorate our clean energy win during the Mayor's press conference on the steps of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power building. Let's make sure that everyone is included in the transition to clean energy, and celebrate this victory for equity!
