Working with strategic partners in Pomona is a great way to tell our story

Wherever we've seen opportunity to benefit a community, we've worked on forming local civic partnerships that spread the word about GRID solar. This comes in addition to the collaboration we do with nonprofit organizations and individual people who need the savings solar provides, and it reflects the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff!

Outreach is always hard at work in Los Angeles County, and recently a highlight for us has been the opportunity to engage the public in Pomona, one of the largest and most diverse cities situated along the eastern reaches of the San Gabriel Valley. Thanks to a forward-thinking team at the Pomona Housing Authority, we've set up an area in the lobby of Pomona City Hall where residents can learn about what we do and perhaps start the process of qualifying for renewable power that brings 80% reduction in electricity bills! Talking to dozens of people each morning is a valued opportunity to tell our story, and we've been inspired by how much interest we've seen. Pomona is also letting some of its residents know directly about opportunities offered by going green with GRID: no-cost clean power system on the roof you own, education about sustainability, savings on utility costs, and the prospect of helping make the Pomona Valley a better place by supporting GRID workforce development and a clean environment.

Look for us at City Hall the next time you're passing through! If you want more information about how the partnership process benefits stakeholders or feel excited to start this process in your own city, you're welcome to send your questions about how we work to Stella Ursua! Homeowners can learn about our process to get solar by filling out an easy form on our website.
