GRID has been making great strides in clean mobility; creating greater accessibility to clean and reliable transportation options; since the launch of the Clean Cars for All Program in 2018. Here in the Bay Area, we’ve just launched a Clean Mobility department, managed by Cynthia Ibarra, formerly Clean Mobility Coordinator.
Here’s a quick summary of our current clean mobility offerings:
- CARB’s Access Clean CA - As a formal outreach partner, GRID is connecting residents with California’s clean energy and transportation equity programs, including grants and rebates for new and used hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs), transit vouchers, and shared mobility, as well as coordinating this with solar!
- BAAQMD’s Clean Cars for All Program – GRID provides outreach and case management for this vehicle scrap & replace program which creates more affordable access to clean mobility alternatives like EVs + charging, public transit, and e-bikes for Bay Area residents
- Residential and Multi-unit Dwelling EV Charger Installation - Thanks to partnerships and pilot projects like Richmond's EV Charging program and Ecology Action's Multifamily EV Accelerator, we offer direct EV charger installation services.
