THE POSITION
Sunnova Energy Corporation is currently searching for a Field Service Manager for our Maintenance and Service group. Sunnova owns and maintains a distributed fleet of residential solar systems across 20+ states and several U.S. territories. All monitoring and inbound customer service calls are handled in-house, and we utilize third-party service partners to complete all field work required. The Field Service Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the O&M activities to maintain the performance of the solar systems, track conformance to contractual obligations, provide excellent customer service to our Customers and ensure a smooth workflow and optimally performing solar systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage team of solar electricians and repair crews to complete all system warranty repairs and service requests within service levels and cost
- Providing first and second level troubleshooting for all solar system service requests
- Coordinate materials, inventory, fleet vehicles, technicians, and maintenance requirements to achieve service level targets for system repairs
- Serve as the Responsible Managing Employee in California.
- Physical project completion including pulling necessary permits.
- Coordinating field activities to service the systems, either by internal resources or partner technicians
- Processing all customer warranty and insurance claims.
- Providing product and service training to customers and partners.
- Management of service orders.
- Communicating opportunities and recommendations for modification or improvements to processes to assure optimum
efficiency of the company assets. - Perform any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- CA Master's Electrical/Contractor license or C-10 is required.
- Ability and willingness to obtain master electrician license in in other states and maintain qualifying agent status in multiple
states - A Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience; a High School Diploma
(or GED) is a minimum requirement - Qualified to be certified as the Responsible Managing Employee for Sunnova in the State of California
- Willingness to acquire additional certifications in other states, as needed
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong home construction or residential electrical knowledge
- Extensive customer service skills
- Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources

Warehouse Specialist
Overview:
The Warehouse Specialist plays a pivotal role on the Branch Operations Team and is responsible for all activities in the warehouse related to the receiving, stocking, and delivery of materials to the local Branch Installation Teams. Responsible for maintaining organization and inventory accuracy, the Warehouse Specialist works with little to no supervision while managing all warehouse operations according to standards and best practice.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management
- Maintain an organized and standard setup of all warehouse inventory and equipment according to Warehouse Operations standards and best practice
- Responsible for the safety and security of warehouse inventory and equipment
- Operates within and promotes a safety culture in all warehouse functions
- Participate and contributes in Warehouse Operations team meetings and training events
Material Management
- Perform transactions in Oracle ERP for all material movement through the warehouse, including: receiving, stocking, and issuing.
- Drive inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materials.
- Responsible for managing all material movement through the warehouse, the Warehouse Specialist operates the forklift to unload shipments, process receipts, and stock the shelves.
- Operate as Material Specialist and collaborates with Branch Management to define and manage the Branch Stock Plan
Delivery
- Coordinate with the Branch Leadership Team to develop the material delivery plan based on the project installation schedule.
- On a daily basis pick, package, and deliver all materials to the Installation Team.
- Responsible for delivery of material through restocking trucks, fulfilling Installer orders, and staging project materials in advance of construction start.
- Work closely with the Service Team to manage all materials, documentation, and RMA processing for service and warranty projects.
- In smaller branches the Warehouse Specialist may work in a dual role until volume can support specialization.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3 years of Warehouse experience
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred
- Initiative: Ability to think and take constructive action at work without being urged; skill and ability in taking the lead in forwarding new ideas or work methods
- Safety Orientation: Demonstrates awareness of company safety policies and procedures; includes ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safely

An Installation Supervisor is primarily engaged in the supervision, mentorship, and guidance of a local installation team so they are able to continuously develop as employees, whilst delivering to Tesla standards. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day hands-on supervision on site to the Field Energy Operations team and report to the regional Associate Manager on safety, quality, and efficiency metrics. Duties/Responsibilities
- Onsite leader considered an expert in all aspects of energy system installation, responsible for mentoring and training crew members on new processes, concepts, and products
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in the customary and regular management of the installation team to meet departmental goals via appropriate allocation of workload, effectively managing resources and tracking goals with regards to safety, quality and efficiency.

Warehouse Specialist
We are in search of a Warehouse Specialist who will become a strong contributor and make a difference. In the Warehouse Specialist role, you will be responsible for all inventory in the warehouse and preparing all jobs with the proper equipment for all installations as well as record usage on a daily basis.
Key Job Duties:
- Assist in all daily warehouse activities and ensure compliance according to all approved company processes
- Work closely with the Warehouse Lead to discuss upcoming installs, special material requirements, or special projects
- Work closely/daily with the Area Supply Chain Supervisor to ensure accountability and inventory/asset accuracy and accountability
- Verify counts and receive all incoming stock by comparing packing slips/invoices with purchase orders or transfer orders
- Transfer inventory to its location in the storage facility or to shelves using the approved company inventory management software
- Ensure all palletized material has approved material identification labels affixed
- Assist staff or other non-warehouse workers find specific items
- Pick and document all equipment and inventory needed for each install and service daily
- Check all work orders and remaining inventory daily and communicate all material needs to the Procurement Team as needed
- Report all incomplete work orders by Install Foremen to Operations Management for corrections
- Assist in maintaining vehicles and verify authorization to use vehicles via the Key Control Log
- Manage the Company’s Tool Control Program and tracking system
- Perform full quarterly inventory audits and daily cycle counts
- Keep the warehouse clean & organized
- Support and abide by all safety regulations set by company
- Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

THE ROLE
The Field Service Technician will report to the General Manager and provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance services to Tesla’s energy products including: solar PV systems, batteries, and other energy products. The ideal candidate has electrical, installation and servicing experience of residential solar PV systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform required preventive maintenance activities on inverters to maintain warranty coverage
- Respond to corrective maintenance cases on solar PV systems, energy storage systems, and updating online case logs accurately
- Work safely and in accordance with Tesla and industry standard safety requirements
- Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts
- Work closely with members of the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
- Prioritize conflicting work requests and escalations
- Respond to customers’ concerns with the performance or functionality of their system
- Ensure the vehicle, tooling, electronics, software, and company property issued are accounted for and taken care of at all times
