Reilly Deffendall

Reilly Deffendall serves at GRID Central Valley as a Workforce Administrative Fellow. He was born in Escondido, CA, and raised in Fresno. He went to Gateway High School and later moved on to Cal Poly. He's Currently in the process of transferring to Fresno State to finish his education there. Before Solar Corps, he was working in sales with Sunrun. He was responsible for lead generation at retail locations. Reilly brings to his service year a plethora of skills. He is knowledgeable in IT, Tech, and business. An interesting fact about Reilly is that he studied abroad in Taiwan. It was his passion for good food and a chance to practice Mandarin that attracted him there. In his spare time, Reilly enjoys playing instruments and music production. It's a form of meditation for him and a great way to get recentered. Reilly found out about the Americorps fellowship program through a University career fair. The expectation of his fellowship was rooted in serving a population that needs it, and so far, it has.
