Beneficial State Bank Joins GRID in Lindsay Installation

On July 25th and 26th, 2017 representatives from Beneficial State Bank joined GRID Alternatives in providing solar on the home of Lizandra Garza of Lindsay, California. This particular installation marks the first time Beneficial State Bank has partnered with GRID Alternatives Central Valley installing solar for qualifying families in our region.  Many of Beneficial State Bank’s volunteers were from regional branches that serve Porterville, Fresno, and Visalia. Over the two day period, volunteers were able to install a complete system with the first day’s team providing component installation on the roof including rails, inverters and related electrical wiring.  The second day’s team focused on completing interconnection between the roof and connections routed to the main electrical panel where GRID Solar Installation Supervisors completed final connections to the main electrical service panel.  Rustin “Rusty” Estes stated that the experience he had was summed up in one word……empowering. “Empowering the community, and empowering myself, thank you for the opportunity”.  GRID Alternatives is fortunate to have community partners who share their same vision and focus in helping communities flourish.  The vital help they offered provides energy savings for the family well into the future and helps provide economic benefit to communities we jointly serve. Beneficial State Bank, thank you for a job well done.
