On a brisk morning, Proteus students had the opportunity to work on a former Proteus student’s home in the small town of Lindsay. Erik Lemus was a student from the Visalia Proteus class about four years ago and has continued his interest in the construction field. “I started working for a resource company that had me work for different solar companies and now work for a manufacturing company” stated homeowner, Erik Lemus. Working side by side with current Proteus students, Erik flashbacked to the time when he was a student of Proteus. “It is pretty cool to have Proteus students install solar on my home…this will help my family save money” stated Erik.
