Humanics at Fresno State, Sigma Omega Nu and Rabobank Team up to Install Solar in Reedley

Good things happen when good things come together. So was the case last Saturday, October 25th, 2014 as GRID Alternatives teamed with Fresno State and Rabobank to complete the third and final installation of Humanics at Fresno State and Rabobank funded solar installations in Reedley, California.  This sponsored installation also coincided with GRID’s SunEdison supported “Women in Solar” initiative that has eclipsed 100 participants in the Central Valley, an achievement we can all be proud of.  “It was a great learning experience. I know now what it takes to install solar panels, it’s a lot of hard work being on top of roofs in the hot sun all day. It had been a while since I’ve used a drill but once I got a hang of it, I had a blast”, said Lisa Sifuentes.  Irene Morales added, “today I feel proud… proud of all the women here today. We got our hands dirty, conquered our fear of heights and helped a wonderful family save energy”. Thank you Humanics at Fresno State and thank you Rabobank for your support!!!
