GRID Alternatives Central Valley (GRID CV) and Central Valley Opportunity Center Inc. (CVOC) recently teamed up to provide solar installation training to six local residents, equipping them with hands-on skills for a sustainable career path.
At the graduation ceremony held on June 11th, Merced County Supervisor Daron McDaniel joined the celebration, offering his support and words of encouragement. This partnership goes beyond clean energy—it’s about building a better future and strengthening our community. Thanks to the efforts of this cohort, five Central Valley families now have solar power in their homes. The next group of trainees will begin their journey in November.
