SolarCorps “Thank You” and “Welcome”

GRID Central Valley wants to say “THANK YOU” to our SolarCorps Fellows that are finishing their term of service and “WELCOME” to our new SolarCorps Fellows that came on board as of August 27th, 2018.

GRID Alternatives SolarCorps Fellowship Program is an opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic people to join GRID Alternatives for a 13-month term. The people that are selected for these positions will gain valuable experience in the solar and non-profit industry to help launch their career while making significant contributions to GRID Alternatives and the broader community.  Fellows get training and supervision from GRID regional staff and gain a broad range of skills and experience to qualify for a range of different renewable energy and non-profit careers, while helping under-resourced families receive solar services from GRID Alternatives.

GRID Central Valley wants to say “THANK YOU” to Nienfou Saechao, SolarCorps Construction Fellow, Chengfou Saechao, SolarCorps Workforce and Volunteer Fellow, Farhana Weerasinghe, SolarCorps Outreach Fellow, Jessica Madrigal, SolarCorps Outreach Fellow and Luis Resendiz, SolarCorps Construction Fellow (not pictured). All are concluding their term of service in the GRID Alternatives SolarCorps Fellowship Program and have secured positions as staff with the Central Valley office.

We would also like to say “WELCOME” to our new SolarCorps Fellows that started their term on August 27th by attending a week long orientation in Emeryville and will hit the ground running on September 4th in our Central Valley office. Our new SolarCorps Fellows are Salamasina Satale, SolarCorps Workforce and Volunteer Fellow, Alice Gonzalez, SolarCorps Outreach Fellow, Al Hakim, SolarCorps Workforce and Volunteer Fellow, Larry Garcia, SolarCorps Construction Fellow and Cristian Tello, SolarCorps Construction Fellow.
